Aliment\u00e9 par une d\u00e9marche conceptuelle, et ce tant au niveau des textes, des m\u00e9lodies et du graphisme de la pochette, le duo montr\u00e9alais \u00e9tale toute l\u2019ampleur de sa vision artistique en plus de livrer une quinzaine de chansons qui, tel que d\u00e9montr\u00e9 via les premiers singles, vont de la pi\u00e8ce heavy-rock efficace aux accents pop \u00e0 la longue \u00e9pop\u00e9e musicale teint\u00e9e d\u2019influences stoner, post-rock et rock progressives. L\u2019album culmine par ailleurs avec&nbsp;<strong><em>Le delta de l&rsquo;Okavango<\/em><\/strong>, une pi\u00e8ce absolument unique o\u00f9 le groupe est accompagn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019octobasse par nul autre qu\u2019<strong>\u00c9ric Chappell<\/strong>, contrebassiste r\u00e9sident de&nbsp;l\u2019<strong>Orchestre Symphonique de Montr\u00e9al<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>RIONNOIR est un album concept identitaire ayant comme point de d\u00e9part l&rsquo;observation suivante : Nous ne montrons jamais 100% de nous-m\u00eames \u00e0 personne. On ne laisse pas n\u00e9cessairement le m\u00eame \u00ab moi \u00bb sortir quand on est avec nos&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ami.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">ami.es<\/a>, nos coll\u00e8gues de travail ou nos&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/conjoint.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">conjoint.es<\/a>. On ne laisse pas n\u00e9cessairement le m\u00eame \u00ab moi \u00bb s\u2019\u00e9chapper en fonction de notre position de pouvoir face \u00e0 notre entourage ou de notre personnalit\u00e9 effac\u00e9e ou exub\u00e9rante ou encore de notre \u00e2ge et des \u00e9tapes de vie qu\u2019on traverse. Pourtant tout est l\u00e0 tout le temps \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Est-il possible de s\u2019incarner \u00e0 100% plut\u00f4t que de rev\u00eatir 100 diff\u00e9rentes versions de soi-m\u00eame comme autant de pointes d\u2019un m\u00eame iceberg? En se regardant dans le miroir, est-ce possible juste une minute d\u2019apercevoir cette personne et toute la complexit\u00e9 qu\u2019elle repr\u00e9sente? Fueled by a conceptual approach, as it shows through lyrics, melodies and artwork, this opus displays the full extent of the Montreal based duo&rsquo;s artistic vision, while also delivering fifteen songs that, as demonstrated with the first singles, range from effective heavy-rock cuts with pop influences to long musical journeys tinged with stoner, post-rock and progressive rock influences. The album&rsquo;s biggest highlight remains the very last song&nbsp;<strong>Le delta de L&rsquo;Okavango<\/strong>&nbsp;which includes an octobass performance delivered by none other than&nbsp;<strong>Eric Chappell<\/strong>, double bass player for l&rsquo;<strong>Orchestre Symphonique de Montr\u00e9al<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>RIONNOIR is based on the following observation: We never show 100% of ourselves to anyone.
